Can't search forums

I seem to have lost the ability to search any of the threads, forums or subforums. I keep getting an error message telling me to wait 150 second, even though my last search was weeks ago. any suggestions how I can fix this?

Me too. I find if I wait a few minutes without doing anything on the site, it will let me search. I think the board sometimes mistakes normal browsing for searching...

Ditto, I have the same problem. It somehow thinks I have been making searches even when I haven't. I have found that waiting the 150 seconds then refreshing the search page does sometimes work, but it's annoying nonetheless.

Problem seems to be fixed today, not sure how. those of you who said you had the same problem I suggest giving it another go.

I had a similar problem a while ago with a member test-account. For my moderator account, the search worked fine. Not sure what happened to fix it.

Just want to add that it does not work, as of this post. That is, it does not work for me and whoever else it does not work for...for whom it works, good, but for the rest of us...I don't know. If I knew, I'd fill y'all in on the solution (I'm optimistic and won't presume that a solution does not exist).

I have the same problem. The weird thing is that the first time I search it always gives me that error, but if I wait 150 secs I will be able to search. Maybe Tosa has been feeding the system too much fine Dutch beer.

Hello,

I'm not sure why that is, but I know Jelsoft (authors of this software) changed the search completely. Quite a lot changed, I can't claim it was a smooth ride and there've been some updates since the first release. I haven't had time to download the latest.

Don't lie Tosa...it was the beer...
