ignoring her isn't the issue though. people are telling me that she is spreading rumours and lies about me, and thats the only reason i care to talk to her. to make her stop and then ignore her afterwards.

I can't just let her keep spreading rumours to people I don't know yet, what do you want me to do? texting/facebooking can be ignored/taken less seriously.

1. Trying to track her down to speak to her only proves her point.
2. Its for a reason.

Best option: Ignore it. If someone mentions it to you, just say "Oh is she? Whatever floats her boat."

Indifference is your friend. If you stop caring, the problem will go away.

She is screwing with you, don't give her the satisfaction. And nothing will piss her off more.

What's in a reputation anyway? Your close and personal will not change and will know who you are. Who cares about people you will never meet? Ignore her and move on with your life as the others have suggested. Ignorance (and a thick skin) are bliss afterall! This thread makes me so glad I am no longer in High School! :)
