Don't know who told you that games don't have a purpose, cos every game has a main feature and some sidefeatures.

I am of the majority who doesn't thinktotal war is an online game, so that allows me to say it in plural. And you are completely right about that people have a choice and it's clearly which choice they have made (since I am the only non-multiplayer person who posts here, and as no one else except you and your online mates to contradict me) and you got to respect that.

I don't know why you're so deluded and unwilling to accept things as how they are.
I respect your oppinion but i know that nothing gets the blood flowing like that one , critical moment , in the online battle when the match is either won/lost on one big decision.
the adrenaline rush is rly something and even after the game has ended your mind doesn't stop wondering "how could i have done it differently to make it better?"

At least for me. beating the AI to a pulp doesn't do much for me sry
