    No, mods do not get paid. As for prestige, being made a moderator is sometimes punishment (I don't know what the Backroom mods did to deserve their fate ). I don't believe this to be true in my case (Right? Tosa? Anyone?), I'm happy to do the job here in the Main Hall for a game I love.
