I would write the name of someone famous so when the planes go over they would think they would be saving someone famous and rescue me faster.
The downside of this is they could get angry that there was no celebrity on the island and might leave me there forever.

About twenty-years ago I lived in a cabin in the woods near a small lake. Sometimes after a fresh snow, me & Beirut would go for a walk and I would "draw" a huge flower on the lake. Maybe a good 150' long. I always wondered in anyone in a plane ever saw it.
Probably did that a dozen times. Good fun.
