Sometimes when you're doing comedy you have to kill a camel. I thought everybody knew that.

    Yepp, blame John personally.

That is clearly mature and unbiased.
Few are born with it, even fewer know what to do with it.

I opened this thread expecting to see a dead camel.

PJ, I don't know about a real dead camel, but I would be willing to show you a genuine dead camel training tool, as marketed to the US Marines:

This one was created for the U.S. Marines as a dead camel training prop. Artificial fur (imported from Germany) with an extremely tough backing. Urethane foam inside. Posed as requested. Inner foam can be cut and shaped with standard woodworking tools. Fabric can be cut and resewn in place. Steel armature inside with tie down cable thimbles for securing into place.

So the camel stepped into that fence somehow and this really clever page says it was unable to walk on snow?
Does that mean it stepped into the fence because it was unable to walk on snow or could that just as well have happened in a desert?

It's hard to say since there is absolutely no explanation in your link, just an incomplete video and some biased rant about torturing a camel that isn't backed up by a video where people are trying to help the camel....

Camels can walk in snow, can deal with hard and soft surfaces. I think there was some bad luck plus a handler who doesn't know what he was doing. Did he transport the camel for too long, in a too small cart? Got him to perform before he was properly rested and adjusted? Too much much stress on the animal and should they have aborted?

Don't make an animal suffer to make a few bucks. And don't cut corners either with life animals.

While a camel got hurt to save a few dollars, there's always more dollars coming from that mother of all government waste: the army:

Few things in life are as profitable as having a business + the right government connections.

I can make a fake camel. Buy a dead one in Mauretania, skin it, stuff with foam. $300. Somebody please introduce me in a connected network? We'll make it a joint venture!

You know, if you're too cheap to spring for a genuine dead camel replica, you might as well go for the dead goat replica, which is a third of the price. Whatever, cheapskate. Just remember that the ladies love a dead camel.

If what it takes to make the Daily Show is to kill a few camels then I´ll get right on it....how many need to be killed?

I like a stuffed beaver. Any chance of one?
There are times I wish they’d just ban everything- baccy and beer, burgers and bangers, and all the rest- once and for all. Instead, they creep forward one apparently tiny step at a time. It’s like being executed with a bacon slicer.
