All Roman armies revolve around heavy infantry though so I don't really see what the big deal is. Polybians and Camillans can bring a little cavalry to the fight, thats about the only difference.

There are players of all walks of life and all tastes and expectations. That some enjoy their battles being handed to them on a silver platter is not surprising (the lack of such players, on the other hand, would be surprising).

What do you mean? You can use archers or slingers and cav and win against celts? Surely you will not win with a line of non-armoured infantry against celts but what's wrong with that?
