    Thanks for that, Louis.

Nice girl. But no brains. And no case either.

'J'ai entendu beaucoup d'histoires...' Yeah, right.

I'm starting to develop a vague and probably thoroughly misguided streak of sympathy for DSK. But I have no doubt that you will disabuse me without delay.

And to think you just took so much time to write why you like neither the socialists nor DSK.

My first recollection was that of the Kobe Bryant affair but then remembered what Arnold did. I expect people in such high positions to act more intelligently than this but we are, after all still human. All I know about this [pun]DFK[/pun] guy is what I've heard from recent news stories.

I'm not sure what to feel worse about. They're both victims in this case; victims of their own volition.

Indeed. I'll stick with Epicurus if you don't mind. A wise man, and one who loved women.

Epicurus' philosophy always makes me LOL. Did you know he even was a vegetarian? That guy was completely nuts.

Are you suggesting that being a vegitarian and respecting women is 2 sides to the same crazy coin

Or was this whole thing a futile attempent to throw out as many grade school philosiphers as you could and seeing what stuck?

Pray tell my good man, What is DSK wanted for in France

    I'll wait

There, but for the grace of God, goes John Bradford

My aim, then, was to whip the rebels, to humble their pride, to follow them to their inmost recesses, and make them fear and dread us. Fear is the beginning of wisdom.

I am tired and sick of war. Its glory is all moonshine. It is only those who have neither fired a shot nor heard the shrieks and groans of the wounded who cry aloud for blood, for vengeance, for desolation.

On that note, I may have found a loophole.

If one reduces an animal to a vegetative state, then eats it, can one still be a vegetarian?

Possibly, but you will also have thereby qualified the animal for high elective office or a position with the IMF, so perhaps the feast should be delayed?

It's about time they genetically engineer chickens, pigs etc. wich never grow brain tissue. Anything else would be unethical.

Eh, I dont that'd work well, its gotta grow at least some amount of nervous system to keep the body functioning at least without life support systems.
Being better than the worst does not inherently make you good. But being better than the rest lets you brag.

There does seem to be more to the story than what we are being told so we need to stop and think that the case is a forgone conclusion to go to the way of DSK as it looks like.
