I refuse to even bother explaining to you the concept of peoples politics varying radically even within a party and the fact that hose two men are also radically different.

I'm failing to understand the aim of that post of yours considering that I was merely asking about names in general, rather than joining a "oh which left is this ? american kind of thumb-sucking Hermanist tribalism shifted towards libieberalism or European way of blargablargijustpukedonmyleftfoot" kind of debate which I never had the slightest of interests about.

John McCain is this old white guy who ran for President in the last election for the Republicans.
Herman Cain is a radical republican who is this old black guy who wants to be nominated for this election.

They are two different people and many people do get confused! So don't worry about that LeftNine.

Also, yes, it is the same Ron Paul. I had to check as I believe there is a Senator (his son) who is dancing around some where.

This isn't a popularity contest like an election. I'm not sure that the president has ever faced a situation like this.

I am tired and sick of war. Its glory is all moonshine. It is only those who have neither fired a shot nor heard the shrieks and groans of the wounded who cry aloud for blood, for vengeance, for desolation.

Ah yes, the joys of the two party system and people accusing others of not being "real" members of their party.

You're blind drunk. I love you that way, but don't tell the others.

I love it too. After all, all of my hopes and desires are pretty much reliant on his being blind when drunk...

At this point I would have to say I would vote for Obama, for two reasons. One, his policies and actions have drifted to the right enough to be reasonable. And two, it would give the hardcore neocons and fundys brain aneurysms. Win-win!
