Don't get why Pankstr didn't win matches. Against me he was rly good and flexible. I guess bad luck , but that will pass

Did well in his very first mp match against me too. It takes a while to learn, I lost my first 6 of my first 7 tournament matches I think.

It takes a while to adjust to the different style of battle against humans as opposed to the AI. That's probably why you might want to play some 'serious' friendlies before playing tournament matches, unless you're quite ambitious.

Agreed. Good choice with Pontos though Prankstr. Very adaptable army with strong options in missiles, cavalry, and infantry. Learning curve for them won't be as steep as some other factions.

I guess my biggest problem now is that i cant use those phalanxes well against human players. Against AI one could just keep them in 1 line and wait for them to attack and just flank them easily, so I dont really know what to do with them yet :P

Well you choose Pontos so use friendlies to improve your skills with phalanx in tourney if you think that you are not good yet you can play with good heavy infratry they have good infratry so you can mix them with archers and cav :DD

You don't need to use phalangites with Pontos ;-). There are some clever ways to use them but nearly all of them feel kinda awkward. You need to think out of the box with phalangites.
