Alright, I believe I've got the patch and the fix from the post you linked installed correctly. I'm not sure what did it (or even if this is a permanent fix), but the random CTD I'd been getting in my English campaign seem to have disappeared. Haven't tried it with a Crusade yet, but I have one built...and the Egyptians seem to be wasting their poor Antioch, Tripoli, and Egypt provinces by not using them for trade. I may have to liberate them...

Hopefully it works. It would be nice to be able to steal some of Spain's border troops, as they're looking a bit dangerous to me right now. Thank you for your help!
