After my mini-game when reasonably well, I would like to host a larger game based on the Arkham games in the Batman universe. I'm hoping for at least 40 players, which would be larger than anything I've ever hosted, for an enjoyable game for everyone.

The game would take place in Arkham City, basically a walled off section of Gotham in which criminals are pretty much left to their own devices so long as they do not escape. The game in which it was used had some superfluous plot I've already forgotten, the intriguing part was the gang wars between the super criminals which will be the focus of this game. There will be no townies, the masses will be goons, meatshields for the super criminals. The super criminals will be the equivalent of dons in Capo, each will be looking to rid Arkham of the others to become master of Arkham City. Ridding Arkham of a super criminal will take a lot of goons however, and alliances may need to be formed to get rid of a rival. Each super criminal will also have a lesser, consigliere type character, who can, in some cases, betray their boss and form their own family.

The lynch will be The Redemption Lottery. Each day phase the inhabitants of Arkham may select one of their own to receive a pardon from the mayor of Gotham, they will be taken from Arkham City to a beautiful Pacific island, where they will live out the rest of their life in peace and tranquility. Any similarity between the reality and the movie The Running Man is entirely coincidental...

And what about Batman? Well his role will be to arrest the super criminals and take them away from Arkham to enable the facility to be shut down peacably. He will have a number of abilities, though obviously will be unable to kill, and perhaps some allies, some more trustworthy than others.

I'll not be doing much work on it until we're closer to the start date, hopefully March, as I'll be running the Westeros game, but feel free to express interest, ideas or scorn.
