Facial Hair

I have decided that a man's face is meant to have facial hair. A male face without it is unnatural, perverse, and possibly Satanic. I have been laid up on account of a broken ankle for the last 4 1/2 months, and have not really been trimming my beard. For about the last month it has been down to my solar plexus and pretty unkept. Since I will be walking (hopefully) by mid-Feb to early March and will be looking for a new job, I decided to shave the old bugger down into a tight and trim goatee. I was horrified by what I saw staring back at me in the mirror! I could hardly believe it was even me. In fact, it looked like the top half of my face with a miniature interloper clinging to the bottom. Just when I had almost forgotten about my recessed chin!

I have pledged "Never again!". As soon as I land a new job, I am letting some real facial hair move in and I am not shaving it for the world. Men without facial hair aren't. Period.

I like to have a little stubble, it makes me look sexy. But I can't go without shaving for longer than a week, after that it gets too long and it starts to bug me.

Nah I disqualify as I adopted an old shetland-pony a while ago. Cannot charge any lines with it (lol at vikings), it's smaller than a plow and it needs a low-protein diet or it's feet will go bad. Which is very rare for a non-warmblooded horse. I can comb and pet it though

I have the opposite problem. My beard is thick and enthusiastic, and needs daily shaving to be kept at bay. For a while I did the goatee thing.

These days I stay clean-shaven. Face it, 99% of women prefer the smooth face.

In my experience the more experienced women generally prefer facial hair.

Neither do most employers. It is the type of stereotyping, prejudice, and discrimination that most people ignore. Don't worry though, there is still hope for you.

I had an inch long beard I guess, but I had to shave it for a thing. I looked like I did before I had a beard. So surprising.

I don't like shaving because stubble is almost painful. Beard also hides some acne, so I guess that's a plus.

In my (limited) experience it is the looser women who generally do not have a problem with beards.

No seriously, it depends on how I feel. When I met my ex-girlfriend I had a goatee, but I shaved it off about a month later and nothing changed, haw haw.

That could only be because 99% of men don't have my beard.

With good grooming any problems with beards are mitigated. If I keep my beard short it's not even scratchy.

For myself, I shave every 2 or 3 days. I don't like it but I have a girlfriend and a job.
