Default Hello! New to the Org, and looking forward to contributing in different ways

well my profile pretty much sums it up I am days away from getting Medieval Total War from the UK, and obviously I'm stoked. Can't even get the urge to run M2TW Anyway, even tho' I'm new I am looking forward to roaming about to the different areas and posting.

If I could bother one of you fine folks to give me an answer to a question that just ocurred to me. I am wondering if M:TW would be easier to do an AAR on? I have cranked out turns on M2:TW in writng but never far enough to put it onto the boards over at the "other site" If you have a position or opinion please share. I will wander over to the M:TW forum to post this question.

Look forward to replying to your posts here and elsewhere

    Welcome to the Org, Jack50!

I'm writing-challenged, but I imagine it's easier to organize the events of an AAR with a proper turn-based campaign as opposed to the hybrid mess of the RTW+ campaign model. But then again, I might be a little biased. Come on by the Main Hall and let us know how the campaign goes!

    Welcome Jack50

Imo, I think M:TW is probably better suited for writing AAR's for the same reason drone mentioned.

Seeing that you're willing to contribute in different ways, Phill and I went to the local Mexican last night and somebody needs to clean the toilet, so... thank you for volunteering, good sir! It's good to see this kind of enthusiasm in our new recruits! Here's a toothbrush.

    Welcome to the .Org
There are times I wish they’d just ban everything- baccy and beer, burgers and bangers, and all the rest- once and for all. Instead, they creep forward one apparently tiny step at a time. It’s like being executed with a bacon slicer.

I remember well my time in the US Marines and Mexico for that matter It shows how soft we have become that you would provide the toothbrush. Heck we always were told that our fingernails were better at getting into the really tight spots I appreciate the humour and really appreciate the words of encouragement.
