Alien was intended as a suspense/horror movie. Cameron turned the series to the action genre with Aliens. Don't get me wrong, Aliens is a fun flick, but I preferred the first.

I remember seeing Alien (1) again about a year ago. What struck me the most is how obviously the alien is actually a guy in a suit, lol.

Well, it was 1979 after all.
