As far as I can see that page hasn't been updated yet. Get the latest EDU from here. It is not sure that we'll be playing this tournament with it, though, depending on if GG2 can get the next version out in time. The OP will be updated with specification on which EDU that we'll actually use when the tournament starts, but for now just go with 3.3 and get used to MP battles in friendlies. Experience is invaluable.

- Till when do I have to chose my faction, and where do I announce it? Here? Or can I fight my first battle in EB Online and then post the faction I used here?

You can always switch faction until you've played your first tournament match, and you announce it in this thread. You can fight as many friendlies as you want as any faction you want without any consequences as far as this tournament is concerned.

- What name do I have to use in Hamachi?

Hamachi name doesn't matter at all, what matters for tournament games is clarity about your in-game name. The best choice is to just use the same nick as you have here on the forum as it'll be easier for Vartan/the judges, but it's okay to use another if you are clear about it here.

That makes sense. At least steppe archers tells you a bit about where the archers are from and their background. Armored archers is just descriptive of their attire.

Also, I might need an EDU sent through as I have made a few self mods and would rather not download the whole thing again. Also...do any other self mods count against compatibility? (specifically EDB changes?)

I can't tell your specifically but there is a reason most MP players tend to have two installations of EB: one for SP and one for MP. I'm not sure what you mean that you "would rather not download the whole thing again". The MP-EDU-Versions are not very big only a few KB big.

I specifically meant downloading the whole game. But I of course forgot that there is a separate multiplayer EDU. It has been a while.

EDIT: Ahh, what do i need to do to make my game multiplayer EB ready? I haven't done this for a few years and would appreciate some guidance.

You can start by reading the instructions on the website. Odds are you won't. Grab the latest copy of 3.4 from the Campus Martius sub-forum and unzip those files into your EB folder. Launch EB using the multiplayer shortcut, and you're good to go.
