There, but for the grace of God, goes John Bradford
My aim, then, was to whip the rebels, to humble their pride, to follow them to their inmost recesses, and make them fear and dread us. Fear is the beginning of wisdom.
I am tired and sick of war. Its glory is all moonshine. It is only those who have neither fired a shot nor heard the shrieks and groans of the wounded who cry aloud for blood, for vengeance, for desolation.
I think we all just need to accept the fact that Swansea is going to win the league this season.

1-1.
Friedel was the best player on the pitch.
See you in the Championship, Tottenham.
Still maintain that crying on the pitch should warrant a 3 match ban
AVB is a talented, but unproven manager. He is expected to be able to do far more than he is capable of at the moment.
If Tottenham sticks with him, I'll bet they have a world-class manager in 3-5 years. The problem is that people thinks he's there already.
I blame Mourinho. If it wasn't for the "next mourinho"-hype, AVB would've been treated a lot more fairly than he is right now.

AVB thinks managing teams like Tottenham or Chelsea is the same as managing Porto and of course it isn't.
His shadow still isn't large enough to get big name players to do exactly as they're told, which was especially evident during his spell with Chelsea. Tottenham is a much better choice. He just needs some time, he'll get there.
Agreed.
He also needs some more experience on how to react to a changing match. He did some rather bad mistakes on his tactics in-game at Chelsea, mistakes he won't be doing in a few years.
He needs the right club to progress though. I'm not sure if a Tottenham in free fall is the right choice. Newcastle or Sunderland would probably be more appropriate clubs for him. They'll have both the patience and the funds needed.
