The claim in the OP is made with the widest possible definition of invasion, and I believe it refers to the actions taking place in WW2 and possibly the Napoleonic war.

I didn't make the list, stole it from a Swedish newspaper who stole it from some book published in the UK... But from the reception of the book, it seems legit and well researched.

With Norway I would guess WW2...

I thought it was the reverse of the list in Kadagar's sig - these are the only countries whose women he has yet to plunder at the ski resort.
At the end of the day politics is just trash compared to the Gospel.

Poor Kadgar, he's never going to live that down.

I'd like to point out that it has been a long time since he boasted about the legions of women he penetrates. We should give the guy a break.

To be fair - if he really wanted to live it down, he'd change his sig.

TBH, I havent thought much about my sig for ages though. I tried to change some years ago, but forum would not let me use that many emoticons in a sig. And then I was afraid that if I changed it I could never even have the old sig back...

EDIT: I sincerely meant this to be a political post, but Rhyf kind of ruined it in the most awesome way. Re-reading the OP from that perspective had me gasping for breath.

    Cheers mate :)

To everyone else: NO I will never make any excuses for bedding people who wants to be bedded. But please do note that that is a far cry from trying to trash marriages or whatever else I have been accused of. I am like a damn token machine, insert some love and attention and you will be bedded (if you have some looks and character).

Token machines are however not known for running around chasing people. And yes, that is just how shallow and meaningless most vacation sex is, before anyone thinks I act all high and almighty.

I have been happily engaged the past few years, and would like to be so again. But if I am tossed a freebie once in a while...

Actually, making a comparison between the lists, it wouldnt be that far off... I'm like the BRITISH EMPIRE BABY!!!

EDIT: Thanks for the support Lemur, but that is more because I have been engaged the last years than any moral growth of mine. In less than a month I will be back in the alps... With that said, I am more interested in settling down than playing around these days.

That's only if you restrict your search to women. There are many smooth, flexible men at the Vatican ...

There are plenty, many of them would be nuns. Heck, the Vatican used to have a strip club church where former strippers nuns would perform holy dances. Where is Vladimir when you need him?

    Also, there are the tourists.

I had formal citizens in mind, and I always assumed that only male clergy were formal citizens. Glancing at wiki it seems I was wrong though.

In the officer programs, I was taught that an invasion technically is 10+ guys, in uniform, on service, crossing a boarder without being welcomed. I also got taught that the number 10 was based on a normal honor guard for dignitaries.

Anyway, you might find it somewhat humorous that I actually lead the last Swedish invasion of Norway. Many a history book has it down to being some stupid Swedish king, but nah, it was me.

Long story short, I lead a combat group (if I remember it right 2 squads with specialists from 4 squads) in our northern arctic mountain regions, a HELL of a hard simulation btw. Anyway, sneaky bastard as I am, I took a detour to outflank the opposition. However, weather hit us HARD with storm winds and -40 degrees, so we sought shelter digging down in the snow.

I was gently awakened by one of my troopers rappidly poking me with his gun, informing me someone would like to have a word. Dug my way out to find my 4 lookouts playing the happy trigger game with Jegerkompaniet guys.

The boarders up there are rather sketchy at best, but we had obviously crossed it. They had been out on a simultaneous training thingy, and had observed us.

We all just had a laugh though, and exchanged rations and souvenirs :)

STILL, I am technically responsible for having invaded Norway :)

    My platoon also invaded Sweden.

Old news, happens every year. Mostly because of excercises between Bardu and Finnmark.

And yes, the widest possible definition of invasion is the uninvited border crossing of a military ground unit, that was what I was referring to.

When did the brits ever invade Peru? Brazil? Georgia? Armenia?

I do wonder though, if the list would be much different if we remove also the countries invaded by France, Spain, Portugal, and Russia.

    I'm guessing here, but:

For Brazil and Peru I'm thinking minor actions during colonial times. For Georgia and Armenia I'm guessing at either the wars against Russia or ww1.

Sweden is a bit iffy if you get into technicalities.

They were at war with Britain from 1810 to 1812. But British ships were stationed at Hanö.

This was officially allowed but if British sailors went into town, could that not be considered an invasion in the broadest possible terms? But then again if a British sailor got to town he was likely deserting anyway.

No, they have to cross uninvited in their capacity as a military force.

For example, when our supply trucks took the shortcut through Sweden to get to an excercise in Finnmark, that counted as an invasion. When we were on leave and crossed the border looking for cheap alcohol and cheaper women, it did not count.

But I would hazard a guess that the count in question here only counts instances where the force is also looking to do some killin' and such... Especially when considering how rubbish British military drivers are at navigating and driving in general. I'm quite sure they've got lost and crossed the swedish border several times during excercises in Norway.

    take a gander at :
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/British...Do_de_la_Plata

I cant find anything about Georgia per say but after they declared independence from Russia after the first world war they were under British protection for 2 years (1918-1920) so maybe that counts

Actions by British privateers were also counted. And I'm sure the British have attacked Spanish harbours and ports in Peru and perhaps Portugese or Dutch in Brazil.
