Hamachi doesnt like windows 8, possible solutions?

hey everyone,

i upgraded my computer and they didnt have windows 7 at the shops so i ended up getting windows 8. lol lets not get into the pros and cons of windows 8.

but hamachi doesnt like windows 8, and id like to get ready for the war season, so if anyone can give me some advice on what to do about hamachi thatd be great.

the problem is; in the chatroom/thing its fine and i can see the messages everyone is sending, i arrange to go in game, and then noone is ever in the lobby. i had this issue when i first started played EB so im not sure if its a windows 8 or what issue and i forgot what i did to fix it then.

One thing I've noticed is there have been at least two instances of this happening. The player installs Hamachi, but cannot see anyone in the LAN lobby of EB. Then I have them reinstall Hamachi and they are able to connect (possibly after a restart, following the reinstallation). I don't know why this works, when it does. But it's worth a simple shot.

Aga is most probably correct. The issue is entirely a different ball game. If you know how to navigate through Win 8, go to where the network adapters are listed. You'll need to visit the classic control panel, networking center, and visit the adapters. Go to the advanced settings menu and you will see the network adapter connection priority listing. Make certain that Hamachi resides below your LAN and Wifi adapters on the priority list. If not, your computer will not connect to other players in the EB lan lobby.
