Very true, in fact a while ago a UK politician (apologies for being vague) said this, and that Universities should keep an eye out for any young Asian guys that don't make friends or seem isolated etc - it just makes them so vulnerable to these types of groups.

I've seen a couple of documentaries on US prisons, and they seem a lot more violent and gang-ridden from what I've heard of UK ones. I don't know if this is somehow due to the massive prison population (thank you War on Drugs), but I could not think of a less constructive environment for helping people get back into society. Like I said I've only seen a couple of documentaries, but is it really that bad that to stay safe you have to join a racist-extremist gang/terrorist group?

I don't know what is supposed to be achieved putting people in there.
