    Rabbits drive me bat sometimes.

Why do they nibble new parsley plants down to stubs when you first put them out, and ignore them for the rest of the year?

I feel like I'm making some bizarre sacrifice that I fail to understand.

why one part of the year? likely because it is at its most delicious (to a rabbit) in that stage.

anyways: if you have problems with rabbits, just get one of those rabbit hunting breeds of dogs. They can root out the rabbits.

alternately, you could make life easier by raising your garden on your ledge, or a terrace.

Nothing personal but you could shoot them. They taste great

    Unfortunately, gunplay is out.

This joint is now likely considered inner-city and shooting stuff would be good way to get arrested :p

Trap or poison would be acceptable I guess...but if it gets the neighbours cat that could cause a scene.

If your plot isn't too small, put in an electric fence. 5000 volts will teach them not to intrude.

Is it a mistake in the value that you have given? Or is it a joke? :) Such a value may help you avoid the process of preparing a dish from the rabbit: just imagine - ready at once! :)

I believe drone was assuming that since I am in N.America the fence would mesh with a propensity for "fast food"

When it comes to electricity, it's not the volts that get you, it's the amps. 5000 volts stings, but it won't do anything permanent. Electric fences basically pulse the wires up to voltage about once per second, anything touching the wire and the ground when it pulses gets a shock, but it's at limited current.

At least the critters provide comedy.

A crow has apparently "claimed" one of our fir trees. I guess no one told the squirrels...the "race to the bottom" was quite entertaining :)

In the UK you can hire Lurchers or Greyhounds for rabbits - trapping is usually problematic and in the UK snares are close to being illegal - they're also really hard to lay properly.

I don't know about the laws in the US but depending on the state I'd imagine you could have anything up to all the restrictions we have here.

just get some cat and sprinkle it around the bed of parsley obviously Dont put it in the actual parsley bed.

smell should work for few weeks but then you need to change the tactic or they get wise to it.

Does anyone here plant Corn and Carrots?

Can't help with corn and gave up on carrots.

Used to plant both beets and carrots; roughly the same soil requirements=>carrots would always be stunted/forked/; beets were always ok. Gave up on carrots.
