Now it won't run!
Hi. Just wondering if anyone can help.
I've played S:TW Warlord edition (Sold Out Games) many times on my PC - Win7, 32 bit. Now suddenly it won't play. I've twice uninstalled it and reinstalled, including the 1.02 patch. When I try to run it nothing at all happens!

This might be due to a Windows Update that was pushed put a few months ago. They removed secdrv.sys, which interferes with the SafeDisc copy protection system. You can try backing out the update, more details here.

It is! Read your link with interest. As it (and this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WmjFfgE5gDk ) makes clear Win10 has this update hard coded so it cannot be removed from Win10 although there are ways to switch it on and off ( https://forums.techguy.org/threads/s...games.1155534/ )but they are a pain.
