Rinstalled MTWVI and won't load?

I installed MTW VI and it won't load.I said no to direct 90 as well as GameSpy.It was running fine a few months ago but refuses to load.what I ma doing wrong?

I don't require the patch in this version.

Microsoft released a security patch in September, KB3086255, that affects the secdrv.sys driver, needed for the SafeDisk copy protection system. Try to re-enable the service when running MTW, as described in the update link.

Ok.I did this.Where it say to do this.

o enable the driver's service (and to set it to automatic), type the following command: sc config secdrv start=auto

I did this.Where it says to do this.I set it to 2.

• Click Start, click Run, type regedit in the Open box, and then click OK.
• Locate and then click the following subkey in the registry: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\secdrv
• Right-click Start, and then click Modify.
• In the Value data box, do one of the following:
  
  • Type 4 to disable the driver's service, and then click OK.
  • Type 3 to set the driver's service to manual, and then click OK.
  • Type 2 to set the driver's service to automatic, and then click OK.
  
  
• Exit Registry Editor.

Nothing is happening and I might not be seeing the game in the registry.

I hope you don't mind me bumping this and I did do everything nothing seems to work and it common with all TW games.Check that link out for more info.

Have you tried installing the Steam version of MTW?

That might be your best option.
