My saved game has corrupted!

Argh my campaign game save wont open its corruted becuase whilst i was playing we had a power cut and the PC cut out, and no i cant load it and i was about 5 turns from completion!

So i ask if i do a short campagin will i unlock the factions i would be completing the full game!

Please help im soooo angry

Hate it when that happens...

First (probably obvious to you already), if you have any older saves, I suggest you try one of them.

If you pretty much had the game won (the endgame can be tedious) and you don't feel like going through another campaign just to play non-Romans, you can unlock the factions manually by editing a text file in your RTW directory. This will allow you to play "unplayable" factions as well.

thanks, yeh i really wanted to try it with another faction, so i will jsut change the directory still bloody annoying though!
