Hi everyone.

I got RTW yesterday evening and I personally think it is a great game. Of course, I have heard people say it isn't as good as Medieval TW, but I can't really comment on that since I never played Medieval. I played Shogun TW before, but that was years ago and I hardly remember much of it other than the cool battles.

So anyway, as my username indicates, I'm a chronic cheater. I played RTW fairly for about ten minutes, then I decided that it was time to whip out the trainers and cheat codes. It took a bit to download the latest patch, and it was pretty late and I needed to sleep. Anyway, I did try some console cheats, but I didn't get some of them to work, so I decided to ask you guys for some help.

I'll quote the cheat that I couldn't get to work in specific.

date year: changes date
Now I tried to write things like 'date 800BC' or 'date 800 BC' or just 'date 800' and none of them worked. Can someone give me some ideas how they're done properly so I can get them to work? Thanks.
