He's not spamming in the way most of us think e.g SPAM SPAM SPAM!! POST COUNT +1!!!!1111oneone!! Instead he's spamming by making half a billion topics at once. He prolly doesn't realise this annoys some of us (in other words, me and mongoose) because half of the topics are his topics saying 'why doesn't this do that?' or 'this is unhistoric'

Then add him to your ignore list. View his public profile and then click on the "add to ignore list" link. The whining about clayton is worse than his posts because there are three times the number of those type of posts.

How does the ignore function work, exactly? Does it just not show the posts when I view a thread, or does it mask whole threads started by the ignored poster?

It will still show the threads (unfortunately) but it will mask the posts, which is great fun, as now i play the guessing game with claytons posts.

It's OK. you will still see his threads but you will not see the text inside his posts.
So it would be best if he just stoped......

i just got an idea, can i ignore the moderaters. wow if that could, i could rule this siteTry it and find out. One of the drawbacks to being a moderator is that you can't ignore anyone.

I believe you can put mods on your ignore list and I hear it works a charm. But why would we ever want to do that?
