    Friend,
I am not sure what exactly your question is. But for these kind of questions you should contact a priest or a philosopher. They will help you!

Sucks to be you I guess...

I know that in MTW, if you lost all of your male family members, you lost the game... one time none of mine wanted to goto bed with anyone, & they all died out with no heir's, & I lost.

But in RTW, I've never lost every single male family member, if you do, you lose like in MTW?

clayton, in order to recieve answers you must give information...

lose 10 generals in 1 battle
you put them all in one stack and charged into phalanxes?

lose an assin in a 100% chance he will complete his mission
there was a .000001% chance that the general's pet lion would wake up and eat your assasin. Unlucky for you, this was that one time.

and lose my empire in 1 turn
all your family members were killed in the battle you talked about above?

"In war, numbers alone confer no advantage. Do not advance relying on sheer militarypower."
    - Sun Tzu, The Art of War

You were clearly hoping ten generals and their power cavalry would be enough to break your enemy. But it's not. Using that many generals risks a big part (if not your entire) royal line. Raise an army the right way and then march to war.

"He will win who knows when to fight and when not to fight. He will win who knows how to handle both superior and inferior forces. He will win whose army is animated by the same spirit throughout all its ranks. He will win who, prepared himself, waits to take the enemy unprepared. He will win who has military capacity and is not interfered with by the sovereign."

-Sun Tzu, The Art of War

Edit: Zakor i'm going to ask you to stop. You're not helping in the least bit.

Clayton if you want help on anything, you might want to tell us what you did.

    "I lost 10 generals" or "I lost 200 soldiers to 10 guys" isn't enough.

Now I'm guessing that thought that it was a good idea to ram something with lots and lots of heavy cavalry. But heavy cavalry is bad when used that way. Use them to attack the back of a unit that's already attacking a bunch of Principles or something.

Maybe you should read up on Froggy's MTW guide, it has some good strategies you can use in RTW.

...this is hilarious - best darn post in ages! I´m laughing my ass off.... I can´t stay put on my chair.
    Clayton,
Tell me, you didn´t put 10 generals in one stack and charged into something did you???! If you want cav-charges you´d probably be better off playing MTW, with knights, kataphracts etc. During the Roman era cavalry wasn´t really good except for flanking. If you want more (urealistical) charge from your cavs I suggest you mod it.
And a word of advice m8. If you expect people to help please describe the situation so that even an idiot would understand it, ok?! I´ve read many of your posts and have a hard time understading them (maybee since I´m Swedish ) and therefore I´ve been uable to help you out.

Dude, you sucks. Do not charge ten generals at pointy spears or whatever you did with them.

If you wondered why the bodyguard unit didn`t get destroyed while the generals still got killed, is it because you don`t get up a message about silverstar generals death, but they`re still dead.

First of all, to Clayton and Zakor, edit your posts to remove the excess !!! and ???. Do you know how badly that annoys us? I'm asking you nicely to stop.

Second, to everyone else, stop posting image macros (images with odd or funny or insulting phrases) in this forum. This is not the place for spam. If you want to make a thread full of macros, go to the Front Room. Something can be just as easily said in words than cluttering up a thread full of images (and from a former dial-up user, I can say that mindless images = teh sux).

    Thank you for your consideration.

I thought that you rated yourself as a 9 out of 10 in this game, Clayton? Did your ten generals get killed by a single unit of Gaullic peasants this time?
