Default The warriors: A must have game

I got my copy today and i must say rockstar have done it again and released a top game. I think you can tell when a game is going to be great when your gangleader orders you to fight a homeless guy who only wants a beer out of the encounter as you exhaust yourself throwing him round the ally like a ragdoll.

Fighting gangs, police, tramps and bashing the innocents on route this game is sick as it is fantastic. A must have

Haven't even heard about this game. Do you have any links to good reviews? I can't believe I haven't heard about it.

I'll google it if you don't have any links. Wow, I can't wait to get it. The hard part is convincing my parents to go and buy it...

    EDIT: Is this for PC?

I'll get it for PS2, unless it's actually better for PC?

Just gonna check out FEAR now.

EDIT: It's definitely this for me, I don't have good enough hardware for FEAR.

I can't really compare it to any game, yeah it does remind you of gta with the violence but my god this game takes it to new levels i find with the violence much more sadistic.

Me and my brother just got my past the riot level battling with scumbag rioters and riot police. Everything you can think of is used as weapon. I have been happily bashing people with guitars, bass amps, crutches, trashcans and so many more i can't remember. Oh and throwing people through shop windows or throwing myself in to clothsline some insane shop owner ready to murder any looters.

Its class boys, just go out and get the game thats all the advice i can give. It is that damn good

Does it have a similiar plotline as the movie? I know they are doing a remake (why, I have no idea, the original was great), this might be the reason they came out with the game.

They have made up a story line for the first part as you battle on coney island before the big meet with cyrus, the riffs and all the other gangs and by that point i think you are at least half way through the game.

I think tony scott is doing the remake which might not be that bad but walter hill classic is great and cool still especially the baseball furies

I'm not sure. I haven't seen the film, and I'm not really a fan of beat-em'-ups. I like the free-roam and action sound of it though. I may get 25 to Life. Sounds like a fun game for the PC.

From what I can see it is PS2 and XBox only, no PC version...

Still looks fun though... Maybe a PC one will turn you in a year as per the norm for Rockstar...

I have seen young men try and beat up homeless old people.

    I stepped in.

I think you're being a bit harsh there Pape, so long as everyone knows it is a game that is being discussed then there is no harm done.

Just a thought not a flame.

Another thought, maybe we should take it to the backroom and discuss it?

And so its ok to play a game involving thousands of deaths in brutal conflicts by swords, spears, arrows, elephants and god-knows what else? As with Rome, its not pleasant, but its not real and its just a bit of fun, as all games should be. Yeah its sick, but it carries the highest certificate and its certainly no worse than GTA. Plus its hardly trash I'm just reporting the content of the game - that way at least people who are offended won't buy it unprepared.

My mistake but no doubt it will be released for PC in the near future.

And although I have nto played the game yet, I have however watched various trailers read many reviews and previews and to me it sounds like a cross between GTA and Manhunt. And coming from Rockstar it is bound to be as fun and gory as their previous titles of the same nature.

It is ok, just ok in my opinion mate. It is good at first but very very repetitive and it doesn't have a free-roaming design. But if you can pick up a cheap copy it's worth a look.

The game revolts me. This topic stays, however. Many games discussed here are objectionable in some way, including the Total War series. We have threads on how best to use civilian massacres in the RTW forum …

That said, I do ask for consideration of a poor frog’s delicate stomach, and for other’s sensibilities. The game provides ample opportunity to upset both.

You can read that sort of stuff on gamespot as well Pap's, and that is a free for all site.

Dunno about game, seems a bit tasteless to me. Never liked GTA for same reasons. Manhunt was a nice game though.

If you get past the first missions, it gets awesome. The first 8 missions are just boring, after that, stealth action goodness. Very moody game, all sort of cool locations like an abandonned zoo, an overrun loony house etc etc.

If you like moddy locations and atmosphere Frag, get this game. Yeah its tasteless but jesus its one of the best games i have played. So much time has gone into this game and if you look past the gang fights and intense violence, you still see a game of total quality
