Old clothes, scissors and red paint
great for making a corpse or zombie costume, if your willing toput in the effort, get some fake blood instead of the paint
    When I was a child
    I caught a fleeting glimpse
Out of the corner of my eye.
I turned to look but it was gone
I cannot put my finger on it now
    The child is grown,
    The dream is gone.
    I have become comfortably numb...

A white headband (paint your fave Japanese Kanji on it) a fundoshi (essentially a cloth, diaper-like thingie), some flip-flops, a couple of wooden dowels, and a drum, and you could be a Taiko drummer. Assuming you have the bod and the attitude for such a costume ... .

It's been difficult finding willing virgins for the sacrificial rites this Halloween. I might have to call the seance off.

Zombie movies and beer. A friend of mine is supposed to dress up as Johnny Cage, so if we decide we want chocolate, he's going door to door while we keep drinking.

Yeah, I saw that story Tribesman. Pretty gruesome.

Fortunately my artistic skill aren't up to snuff on anything that looks real. I'm more into glow-in-the-dark and blacklight stuff - floating knives, hockey masks, skulls, spiders, etc. My ghost might have been a little too good as there were about 3 little kids who wouldn't come to my table for candy. I never had that happen before. The thing is, they didn't have to go through the yard as I was out by the curb on the street. Anyway, a disappointingly dull night. In the 13 years we have lived in our house, this was by far the worst Halloween as far as numbers of Trick-or-Treaters.

What's the problem? Finding willing sacrifices or finding virgin sacrifices?

That's a very cool ghost Gregoshi.

Twas a ho-hum Halloween for me here. Handed out candy, no stunning costumes ... blah. I fell asleep in the afternoon and the family went to the Maplewood Halloween parade without me .

I usually go all out for Halloween, but this year I was too busy. Usually some friends and I build all kinds of decorations. We have a complete graveyard, hanging bodies, and an air-powered coffin jumper. Here's a gibbet I made for last year's Halloween.

This year was pretty tame, must be because it fell on a Monday.

Easiest costume ever is a white sheet, cut holes for eyes etc and then you are a ghost.
