HP Compaq NX8220 notebook

I really want to buy a new laptop, so I chose as a future notebook this:

HP Compaq NX8220

It offers a powerful workstation, and I really like the specs, except the part with the display and the frequency of the processor. So, here, in Romania, are the following specs:

-2.13 GHZ Intel Pentium Mobile processor
-512MB RAM(maximum: 2048MB RAM)
-ATI Mobility Radeon x600(128MB card)
-80GB hard disk
-bluetooth and 3 USB ports
-WIFI and WLAN Standard(802.11b port)
-battery: 7 days standby, 4 days and a half work
-display: 15.4 inches
-docking station, guarantee 1 plus the posibility to extend it to 3 years

Price: 1250 euros(about 1400 US dollars)

I just got an HP Pavilion dv4000 series (US) notebook for my significant other. It's close in spec to yours:
2 GHz Pentium, 15.4" widescreen, 1 GB memory, ATI x700 graphics card, 80 GB HDD.

Works pretty well, haven't had any problems with it. Runs MTW fine, which is all I care about. I haven't tried stressing it with newer games, and all she does with it is surf the web, watch DVDs, and mess around with photoshop. It's got some nice touches to it, and seems to be built well. I guess it really depends on what you need.

HP Compaq is better then going down the individual product lines of Pavilion or Presario as those are for home consumers while HP Compaq is normally the branding for the commerical level product for businesses.

Everything good, but the only problem is that I will get the notebook in June, after my exams.

I have a notebook(DELL Inspiron 5150) so far, but I prefer HP Compaq.
