Of course it is... Kidnapping implies unwillingness, no choice. Here she can decide to say "no way!" and look for another room/apartment.

Well, you can choose not to be kidnapped, although you might get shot, thus not fulfilling one of your basic needs for survival. Same thing for not getting an apartment, you can choose not to and freeze to death if it's a cold place. In principle they're the same. Well, an even better parable would be if someone would block all water sources in a desert and sell water to people, demanding sex as payment.

Husar, don't soil this with facts! Can't you see these women are being exploited? Sure, they are very nice apartments, and the women don't have to agree, and one could also argue that it is bias against men as they have to pay for the damn things... BUT once you overlook all the salient points you can triumphantly emerge and wail that exploitation is occuring, and how these women's rights to luxury is being denied, or something similar.

I wonder if this would be a different story if the men were pressured to have sex with the women and they only did it for apartment space. Who would be exploited then. Money is harder to earn than giving someone a good time. In conclusion both sides are exploiting eachother and they both probably think they are gaining something.

Let's not forget that dating in general is a form of prostitution in most cases. Think about it, who is supposed to pay every time? Who usually moves into who's apartment/house?

Good point, there are, besides the moral points brought up, practical concerns as well. Although I do hypothesize that the sex will take place in the landlord's (after which it becomes the resident's) place, how will all of this be stipulated in a lease?
