Well, I used to classify myself as conservative, but that was old-school, small government-type conservative. Probably no surprise from my comment, I think the Libertarians are looking better and better. Shame they are a bunch of nutjobs.

I'm not that worried about the phone logs either, but the tone of Tiberius's post struck a nerve. The "anything to keep us safe" mentality that has spread through American society really bothers me. What are we, sheep? It's not just terrorists, but many things in our daily lives that we fear irrationally. A person can die at anytime, we just need to accept this and move on.

I blame the baby boomer generation, bunch of coddled, spoiled brats!
