Have you ever been banned from any forum?

I was banned permanently from a forum for spamming it when I was younger (like 12 y/o). I am currently on a 2 week ban from forums.civfanatics.com for (supposedly) trolling, flaming, failure to respect the authority of the moderators, creating mulitple accounts and argueing with other users. Recently I also got a ban warning from another forum for being negative (no kidding). But seriously I am a mild person and I don't intentionally try to get banned, its just sometimes when I have bad days I am suddenly negative. I also hate it when I'm debating with someone and they contradict them selves and generally act like hypocrates. Some people just know how to wind me up.

I hope not to have to engage in any serious debating here. Because sooner or later someone's going to do something that really annoys me, which will result in me really getting mad!

I got banned from this forum. It's a long story, and I probably shouldn't go into too much detail, but it had to do with a Mod in a generous mood and my insatiable curiosity. I wanted to see what a ban looked like. 'Nuff said. Took a while to repair after the deed was done.

the second was politics board. i've been banned there a few times, all temp bans, however. i continue to operate there and the risk of another banning is always present.

About some Armenian and pro-American stuff, I was emotionally triggered and was driving the speech on the person rather than the approaches. I had one major and one minor warning once. However, as I always stated before as well, the moderator staff -of which I'm proud of being one as a rookie- has a great deal of ability to understand and shift manners the way it is accustomed here.

On this forum, I got one warning without point for language (other word for fecal matter), and another warning for linking to a site wich I felt was hilarious but with very explicit language (if interested, PM). I slapped a word of caution on it, but still got a warning point.

I received a sort of unofficial warning here mid way through last year. This was probably deserved, because I was ranting against some of our resident national socialists in the back room. I should have known better.

I've been permanently banned at a particular PC hardware forum, because I criticised their new main theme of collecting a particular type of old pc hardware and posting up hundreds of pictures of their hardware and themselves going to collecting meetings.

Yep, twice. I'm currently banned for 100 days from some forum i got bored of and trashed (i spammed it up with links to meatspin and tubgirl) and me and 30 other people are banned for a week from some other place for plotting a website invasion. We were their best and brightest, and they shot us down with their ban-cannons.

back in my sherdogging days, i took part in an organized raid of another forum.. it was supposed to be a forum of teens talkig about their sexual experiences and problems, but my fellow sherdoggers and i postulated that it was, in fact, a forum dominated by pedophiles. so we raided it and berated of all the pedophiles who pretended to be 13 yr/old girls. dirk nowitzki was mentioned on more than one occaision, iirc.. not sure why..

i was perma-banned from the teen site after about 2 days. which was longer than the others. i am more subtle than most sherdoggers. i am still in good standing with sherdog.

Seriously warman, you're annoying people with your posting habits.
Stranger also spams (and I assume he gets warned every now and then) but not like you do. Take the "where did you get your name from?" thread - you posted more then 5 (?) times the same info. And while Stranger is Dutch, he still manages to use better grammar and spelling then you do.

That's harsh, but if you keep this up you'll find yourself on the wrong end of the banstick. Especially if you do stuff on the org like what you just described.

Yes, from heavengames Rome Total War Forums. I was banned temporarily, for about a month. But even during my ban, I created multiple accounts where I er, kinda insult one of the moderator by calling him a moron.

To add injury to the insult, I call him a moron by using an account name "dratsab", which one of the other forum members automatically decode it as "Bastard" if read backwards. So my ban got increase for another month, more or less.

I did a lot of stupid stuff at the beginning of my ban like e-mailing the mods and stuff like that. That's when I joined this forum. My ban got lifted something in November but after that, I rarely go back to this forum cause the Org is now my home.

Another note, that was my very first ban and hopefully the last.

Another note, I have 1 warning point for a minor offense (too many vulgarities in a post) about 3 weeks ago from Ser Clegane.
