It's the end of the world!
Or at least, it might be. The date strikes 6/6/06 tomorrow. I personally am unsure, but i am hoping the world does end, as then i'll have an excuse as to why i'm not handing in my Math's GCSE coursework.
So, what do you think? End of the world tomorrow, or just another day? also, what are you doing for tomorrow? Any special events? Me and a bunch of friends are having a 666 party to celebrate this special event, which will never ever ever ever happen again in human history. I think.

I personally would very much appreciate it if the apocalypse could just wait for a bit. I'm busy.
By the way, didn't this already happen on 6 june 1006? And won't it happen again on 6 june 3006? (if that date will ever come to pass) And what about the year 666? Or the year 1666? And 2666?

Anyhow, your second point. Big Rainstorms happen quite a lot. The Hurricanes in America are kind of like rainstorms. Firestorms: explosions in Iraq? Plenty of fire to go 'round there. Famines have been in Africa for a very long time now, not to mention many other rural areas in the world, such as the countryside in China or India. Wars? Iraq and Afghanistan, the East Timor stuff, and now maybe even Iran.

That's the Swedish national day. And no I won't do anything special today.
We are all aware that the senses can be deceived, the eyes fooled. But how can we be sure our senses are not being deceived at any particular time, or even all the time? Might I just be a brain in a tank somewhere, tricked all my life into believing in the events of this world by some insane computer? And does my life gain or lose meaning based on my reaction to such solipsism?

Correct you are. In chinese, 8 sounds like the word for 'good fortune', and 4 sounds like the word for 'die' or 'death'. In Mandarin, 1 sounds like the word for 'have to'. So 11114 would sound like 'got to got to got to got to die'.
