Thumbs up Re: Hello, my name is Melea Lord

Thank you. So this is how sites greet new forumers, I should say "hello I'm new more in the "new Member's section". I already have a lot of questions on "how to add more religions to different factions". Can I ask them here or do I have to wait untill I become a proper member so I can go to the correct forums?

You may ask them here or start a new thread and ask for it to be moved.

Hello, and welcome to the forums

For UI cards, there are some tutorials scattered about in the Scriptorium, which is a sub-forum of RTW Modification. Here's a link for creating UI cards in Photoshop:

Features: improved battles, new units to recruit, more buildings to construct, a modified campaign map, and much more!

I would ask them here for the moment. Usually after a bit one of our benevolent moderators will hook the thread into the Alchemy forum, they'll either move it or post a link on your behalf.

Not to mention a number of us regularly cruise through the Entrance Hall to find a hapless junior member to help if we can. Luckily for you I have never played RTW so you probably won't have to be subject to my shoddy advice .

Question Re: Hello, my name is Melea Lord

    Okey I'll ask here:

I got the stuff about the unit card so I will have a look at it.

How do we make paticular gods available to honour for certain factions? I add to the list of factions available to build. Lets say I made the Scipii capable of building the temples of farming. All I know what to do is add it to the top thread of each building { romans_scipii, faction, faction, } for example. And we go to Export_Buildings in the Text folder and I copy the Demeter section over all the roman sections and I change it from greek to roman. It don't work.

Also I'm trying to get the temple of trade for the Thracians and the temple of Naval for all the roman factions.

What am I not doin or doin wrong?

Hi there, I'm one of the moderators for the RTW Modding forums. The RTW Modding forums are open for new members to post in, so please feel free to ask RTW modding relating questions there.

Make sure you have a look through the Modding Tutorials Index as you may find the answer to your questions there already.

If you can't find what you're looking for then you're free to ask an RTW modding related question in the Modding Questions forum.

If you're confused where to post, try reading each forum's description at the top of each page in red. For example, the Modding Questions forum description is:
"This subforum is for asking technical questions about modifying the game, but check the Scriptorium first to see if your question has already been answered. Being polite and making your thread title as descriptive as possible will greatly increase a chance of an answer. Discussion of mods, including questions about specific mods, should be posted in Mod Discussion."
