    Default Online: Total War?

anyone interested in making a multiplayer orientated tw fansie? Say we could provide info of all clans, host tourneys... a hall of fame... we could make a forum where clans could recruit... think it over, it would be great!

I thought your title suggested a multi player option. It would be nice to subscribe to a service that allowed two or more players to play a chess-like game. Alerts could be used to notify players when it's their turn or when they have a battle. There could also be a "time out" where if someone didn't respond in a given time that the AI would take over their faction. It would run slow but it also might break Total War into the MMOG (or whatever it's called) market.

Reinvent the British and you get a global finance center, edible food and better service. Reinvent the French and you may just get more Germans.

Why would we want to do that? They've got to sort out the single player game before they do that....

if CA manage to make MTW2 as good as RTW they will get a "clear victory"

if they manage to put in a emperial campaign map multiplayer mode which 5+ players could play they will get a "crushing victory"

though i have no idea how to make that work without having each turn to take hours or introducing the real-time mode of hearts of iron 2 into total war. though i would even wait hours a turn to get such an experience of total war.
