Get in there. Arsène [cheated out of titles by Marseille] enjoyed that one.

Watched the Arsenal - Marseille match, good work to Wenger for getting the win eventually. I'm looking forward to the big CL matches that will shape up...

While I enjoy watching ManU get thrashed, I'm not sure this bodes well for December 17th.

I doubt they'll beat what I'm watching now. Chelsea 3-4 Arsenal, with 5 minutes to go and I doubt the scoring is over.

edit: 3-5... The Premier League is absolutely insane this year.

First half defending was dire, but Arsene must have worked it out at the break. The last 20 minutes, they were actually getting stuck in, blocking shots and making good tackles, looked like they actually wanted to win the game. Maybe they have mentally turned things around.

    Walcott's goal was superb.

was thinking exactly the same thing when I saw the game.

There was also a Belgian mini-variant of that game. In which Genk (title holders) beat Brugge (second biggest club that still exists in Belgian football history) away with 4-5, even though they were 4-2 behind at some point. Genk's starlet De Bruyne and chelsea target, scored a hattrick:

I don't know what he's doing exactly, it looks similar, but he touches each of his shoulders right before. He did this in front of the Arsenal supporters, so I assume it's some kind of salute.

Some Gooner, sitting in the front row with roughly 20 facial piercings, got RVP's shirt after the match. Lucky sod...

Edit->Watched the game off the DVR. Song's run to set up the first goal was a thing of beauty, he's obviously been hanging around with Santos.

Robin Van Persie single handedly grabbed Arsenal by the neck and dragged it to the top of the table.

That's why we love football. The drama, the suspense. The ups, the downs. Just sit back, relax and enjoy the ride.

(Pity though I like Dortmund, they play nice stuff. Would like to see more of them.)

Indeed, a very sad day. Gary Speed was a man that seemed to be around football forever, yet he was never mentioned for anything other than his contributions on the pitch. Always came across as a gentleman, RIP.

As a Trotters fan I can only say I'm shocked. Great player and a top bloke. It sounds as though he had issues. Terrible shame.
There are times I wish they’d just ban everything- baccy and beer, burgers and bangers, and all the rest- once and for all. Instead, they creep forward one apparently tiny step at a time. It’s like being executed with a bacon slicer.

Good match, a bit scary for non-Barca fans though. They looked very uncomfortable early on, yet managed to come through and really took charge of the second half. Wonder what Mourinho's excuse will be?

The game UEFA said didn't need investigation because there were no betting irregularities? Yes Platini, that's exactly what we all thought was dodgy...

I'm not sure it is. Dinamo is just that bad. I can't be 100% sure, naturally, I just don't dismiss level of Dinamo uncompetence.

A joke from Croatia - head coach of Dinamo is wakened by his wife in the morning:

"C'mon Krune, get up, it's eight"

    "Gomis AGAIN???"
