Given the era it starts in and the map, I narrowed it down to Aragon, Kiev and the Cumans, and plumped for the first.
love knight orders thats pretty much it
Although I voted for the Baghdad Caliphate in the last poll, this time around I voted for Aragon (although the Caliphate is still my 2nd choice). In terms of gameplay, I think adding Aragon would overall make it more interesting than any other of the factions listed.
I say this, however, in the full knowledge that I'm biased. I love having the Aragonese in MTW when I play as the Spanish--which is often.![]()

EURO 2008 & Mobile Suit Gundam 00
Waiting for: Wimbledon 2008.
I vote for the Cumans as they would make the Byzantine Empire and the Hungarians stay on their toes.
And where is serbia? It was fourth most popular in round 1. From this set, baghdad caliphate probably...
I forgot to add Serbia. It should have been added.Originally Posted by Sarmatian

Burgundy! some spice in the anglo-french wars ftw.
OK, I've added Serbia to the poll. And given it my vote to make up for any lost time.Originally Posted by Pindar
Aragon (because it just makes sense). I can also see the chance for Burgundy to emerge if the controlling faction mismanages the area. I could actually see all except Serbia and Baghdad. I would treat the former as rebels while I don’t think the latter had much of an influence (didn’t they rapidly loose influence compared to their high start position?) especially compared to the Turks, Egypt, and the (tickle me) Elmos.
Reinvent the British and you get a global finance center, edible food and better service. Reinvent the French and you may just get more Germans.
