    Default Internet Explorer 7 released

The Register article here , complete with valid link to MS download site.

Anti-phishing, tabbed browsing... basically MS catching up with Opera & Firefox features.

Be careful; there are a few phony download sites that actually serve up Trojans instead of IE7.

edit to add: I have not personally downloaded this product, having learned to await further user reports

I hope you'll excuse me while I let other users beta-test this thing. I'll be sticking with Firefox for the moment.

I actually have the beta (version 3?). It's not bad, in fact, it's just like Firefox, but by habit, I still mainly go to Firefox.

    I'll upgrade anyway...

Don't know why they bothered with the trojans, a vulnerability was just found.

I'll stay with Mozilla/Firefox, thank you.

In other browser related news, the beta of Firefox 2.0 is available to download.

I wonder which will be better?

IE7 does offer better phishing protection. Quite a nice package really. Of course they won't update it for another 5 years so it will be horrifically outdated soon enough.
