Haha, nooo, sports bikes all the way. What I'd like to get someday is a Kawasaki Ninja, in that awesome green colour they do.

    My ride.

Yep, as sexy as beige Fruit of the Looms. But, it's ours, it's clean, it works, it's paid for, it holds all the kids and tons of stuff, and is very comfortable.

I downgraded my '95 GMC H1 to something a little more Child Friendly about 3 months back. And the Gas Mileage is a little better.

Cars can float. It's the duration of time above water that's important.

    I drive a Venom 1000.

    It's a 2006 model and black...fortunately I have it unbadged.

What I like to do is pull up in the wet...rev my Venom “gently” and look over at the young punk on his Bullet bike or whatever...usually I make sure its one that can go really fast.

Once the young punk has taken the bait, then its "good night Charlie"!!

The light goes green and my V10 8.55 ltr twin turbo 1000 bhp Venom just annihilates him!!

With a modest 1000 hp and 1491 Nm it's nothing much......

It's just my little bit of fun I have every now and then while being a responsible citizen.

    '85 Honda Civic, get-to-work-and-back car.

It has a smog test due in January, that I'm sure it will fail without spending more than the car is worth. So, I'm looking for a cheap replacement, and probably donate the Civic to some charity in December (for the $500 tax deduction).

Or maybe a bicycle (it's only 2.5 miles to work).

Still driving my 1995 Acura Integra. Not sure how much life it has left in it, I have not been kind to it (it's starting to burn oil ). Hopefully it can go a few more years without needing anything major done to it. Very reliable considering the abuse, it's never stranded me before.

Heh. The ultimate vanity, quoting oneself. :)

The Civic is dead. Long live the Aveo!

2007 Chevrolet Aveo5. 4-door + Hatchback. 30 mpg city, 37 mpg highway. 4 cyl, 5-speed stick. Not the sexiest ride in town, but a pretty good work pony, I think.

Almost got the bicycle instead, but would have had to wait a week for custom wheels, whereas the Aveo was ready to go in 2 hours.

p.s. The oil slick on the ground below the Aveo is from the old Civic. :)

If I know Daddy Beirut, you are not going to go upstairs. You are going to go into the back of his work van and cut logs along with the regulars, no matter how long it takes and no matter if your hands and ears start bleeding -- until you have paid off the damage on that car, right down to the last dime. Only then can you go upstairs and cry in your pillow, if you still have the energy for it...
