...eh. I mean its got enough horsepower, so you can speed past slow traffic like it was standing still (which is saying a lot on the LA Freeway). But it doesn't handle like a dream at all, it's a little tight going around corners. And Overall, I'm not vastly impressed, plus if I was ever driving it to someplace nice, its kind of a Dorky Car that screams Mid Life Crisis. Even though I'm only 22.

For the same Price I should've bought a Lexus.

If you wanted a car that was built to, you know, handle, and turn corners and stuff, you probably shouldn't have bought American. I don't know why you'd want a Lexus though, most boring cars on the planet.

I used to have a 2003 Jaguar XK, but it was in the shop 1/3rd of the time I had it. If I ever bought an export I'd forgoe anything Euro (because there is a huge lack of Mechanical Support that doesn't Cost an Arm and a Leg) on the West Coast. And Probably end up buying a Japanese Car, and my only problem with Japanese Cars is that the largest engine any manufacturers make is a V6. Not that I would mind a V6 if I was terribly worried about gas mileage, but if I was buying a car with fuel mileage in mind, I'd just as soon have a 4 Cylinder and forget about the hp altogether.

The V6 isn't too much of a barrier to engine power-the most powerful Mitsubishi Evo IX clocks in at 360 Bhp, and it's only a 2.0! One of those things would absolutely blitz pretty much any other road car you could think of.

As an aside-how the heck can you afford cars like this if you're only twenty two?!

...well, I was willed a large inheiritance(sp?) after my father's death.

enough to say, never really having to worry about money for the rest of my life, and god willing if I don't go overboard, enough for my Children's Children to never have to worry about it either.

DON'T tell anybody you don't trust where you live. You may have people like me driving there with our 99 Dodge Avenger ES's begging for a "loan". By the way, did you know that cars can go bald like people. Except it's with paint and not hair (but I do live in da hood so it's a better theft deturant than a car alarm )

Hmm, is the poor spelling humorous or embarassing?

    '85 Honda Civic, get-to-work-and-back car.

It has a smog test due in January, that I'm sure it will fail without spending more than the car is worth. So, I'm looking for a cheap replacement, and probably donate the Civic to some charity in December (for the $500 tax deduction).

Or maybe a bicycle (it's only 2.5 miles to work).

Still driving my 1995 Acura Integra. Not sure how much life it has left in it, I have not been kind to it (it's starting to burn oil ). Hopefully it can go a few more years without needing anything major done to it. Very reliable considering the abuse, it's never stranded me before.

I don't own one. I want one though. I had one in high school.

I want a '70 Olds 442 Convertible (W-30 or W-29 option) with a nice rebuilt 455 F block, stock quadrajet carb and a nice TH400 trans. The one I had in high school in '76-77 was blue.

There's a sweet cherry red one in a pic I found here:

    I drive a Venom 1000.

    It's a 2006 model and black...fortunately I have it unbadged.

What I like to do is pull up in the wet...rev my Venom “gently” and look over at the young punk on his Bullet bike or whatever...usually I make sure its one that can go really fast.

Once the young punk has taken the bait, then its "good night Charlie"!!

The light goes green and my V10 8.55 ltr twin turbo 1000 bhp Venom just annihilates him!!

With a modest 1000 hp and 1491 Nm it's nothing much......

It's just my little bit of fun I have every now and then while being a responsible citizen.

Let alone for Branson's ego. For it is he, SRB, steering that car.

I will someday though when I am as old as AdrianII or was it Kukri?
It was just a funny reply to the Audi/Yamaha R1 series.

If I know Daddy Beirut, you are not going to go upstairs. You are going to go into the back of his work van and cut logs along with the regulars, no matter how long it takes and no matter if your hands and ears start bleeding -- until you have paid off the damage on that car, right down to the last dime. Only then can you go upstairs and cry in your pillow, if you still have the energy for it...
