Conquest of Rome- Kings of Parthia (ooc thread)

Here's my idea:
A PBEM where everyone plays as the same faction. The saved game will be emailed from person to person. I just joined my first PBEM (Wine and Women), and so this is kinda new to me. The reason I am starting my own is because I think that there is greater story potential for the factions I am suggesting.

The main objective will, of course, be the conquest of Rome (From which the PBEM derives its subtitle (TCoR)).
YOU will be able to decide which faction we play as:
Celucid Empire
Parthia
or Scythia.

(If you choose Scythia, you will need to make it playable first).
This is for RTW 1.5!

No matter which one you choose, there is great story potential for each!

er... this would be a standard PBEM. A PBEM with different factions would be termed a multiplayer campaign.

Vuk, it may be a mistake to put yourself first when you are just starting your go in the Thracian campaign. I would let UltraWar go first. Doing a PBM is more time consuming than you may imagine. (I personally am relieved you got the Thracian one going because I don't think I could handle it and the Will of the Senate at the moment. )

But if you do want to take both PBMs simultaneously, I would suggest you devote your time to Parthia first, not Thrace. Going first normally means things go quickly (because there are few towns and troops). By contrast, with Thace, Severous seems to have carved out a pretty big empire to manage.

Plus it would be good to get this one going while people are interested and, as I said, I definitely don't mind waiting a while for Thrace.

LOL, no problem. I saw that Parthia would likely win, and I started playing it and taking screenshots a while ago. I thought, what the hell, if Parthia lost I'd just finish the campaign myself. lol I have been playing for 7 years so far, I will have it ready for Ultra War in a day. I will then prepare the write up.

Well, from this thread, it looks like it did start but browsing the forum, I can't see any write-ups. Probably best to drop it from the list of PBMs. Sorry, Severous.
