Something I just noticed last night: in my Spanish campaign, I've completed all 3 crusades that have been called in this game. I urged the Pope to call a crusade against Toulouse, as the French had been excommunicated, but I had an army within one normal turn marching distance when I did. Someone else suggested the second crusade against Antioch, but as I came by ship and everyone else marched overland through Byzantium, I got there first. The third crusade was against Jerusalem, and I already had Antioch and Acre, so they had no chance. The thing is what happened afterwards.
I noticed that cities that were in crises of public order suddenly were not. I looked at the city status of Antioch (which was blue prior) and notice a 15% public order bonus due to "Glory". I thought this might be akin to the "Wonder" bonus in RTW, where you got a 20% global bonus to public order on the turn you captured one of the 7 Wonders, but that would reduce 5% per turn until it was gone. However, it's been 6-7 turns since then and it hasn't reduced at all. Has anyone else noticed this? Do you get a permanent 5% public order bonus due to glory for each crusade or jihad you successfully complete? I'm going to be calling more crusades, all over the middle east, if so.
