Mongal Invasion Extreme Version (with prizes!)

It's a few turns after gunpowder has been invented (1214) and quite a while since the Mongols invaded, so i thought id toggle_fow to check out how they were going, as well as the Papal States (i call it the Extreme Killzor Bug)

I moved to the star on the minimap and saw this:

How is anyone going to face that? I think Mongolia will win this campaign.

For anyone who is interested I am playing HRE...I have 4 territories, at war with Milan and Venice. But i own Rome....yes i gave Papal States land to like me, and as in RTW it trigged the Extreme Killzor Bug...The Papal States go on crusades, attack anyone they want...its just not fair with them AND the Mongols doing anything they want...

Prize for the first person to notice an error in the minimap. How it happened i dont know.

Oh and for anyone who is wondering, Byzantine is still there, Spain has been destroyed and maybe Poland, dont know about Poland though.

The Mongol like people that wipe out the mongols.

Im going to beat Milan and Venice (who just attacked my Citadel at Bolognoa)and smack them up, with the help of the Papal States. We all did a crusade against Milan, taking Milan. Had at least 6 full stack crusdaer armies outside Milan, but only me sieging, no one else could because most of them are only Neutural with me.

Only Crusades i'll be joining are Milan and Venice ones...considering every Chrisitian State is at war with Milan and Venice...should be fun.

Best advice i can give you is take over the rest of italy and sicily then take over all the islands in the med. Then nick ireland (small rebel settelment easyily taken ) and then take out the scots & english. Once youve done that youll only need armies in the north of itally to deffend your cities everywere else should be safe (AI dosnt attack by sea). Which should give you a really nice economy to save up and goto the americas (go for the rebel settelments first then the aztecs). Once you get the americas youll have tones of money pumping into your economy which should help you dig yourself out of the big whole your in.

p.s. While your trying all of the above as you have good relations with the pope keep asking the pope for crusades against mongal states the whole of chrisingdom should be able to keep them buisey while you carry out this little plan.

Note:- To ask for a cruesade goto the pope tab were it shows your standing with the pope and near the picture of the pope theres a little round button with a cross on it click that then the settelment that you want to cruesade against (just incase you didnt know).

p.p.s. lol dont worry about the mongals anyway in every single game ive had the Timurids always turn up and wipe out the mongals and everyone else. That screenshot youve got there ive seen something similar but for the Timurids they had taken over everywere except i had the Britian and a bit of france and i was surrounded by 30 to 40 full stacks of Timurids. lol Mongal cavalry & horse archers hasnt got a thing on elephants with cannons on there back.
