I´m playing a long campaign with Spain and i think i´m on the verge of losing because my family members are getting old and the seem to be no interested in getting heirs.

At this point, pray. If they don't all die at once, you'll get some adoptions. If your number of generals drops below a certain threshold for the number of provinces you own, the game will offer an adoption about once a turn to fill in the gap, but if you have them all die at once you can lose.
Age and treachery will defeat youth and skill every time.
Find, if you can a tiny rebel army and attack with a Captain on Horse. if you are lucky you might get 'The Man of the Hour' and be able to adopt him.![]()

The surest way to increase your royal family is to take more territory. Like RTW, the number of heirs you get is determined by how much territory you own. As far as I can tell, it's intended as a mechanism to give you incentive to keep conquering.
