About the Landsknechts.They were first soldiers of HRE. First regiments were formed by Maximilien I.Here is a link about them:

Allright.Then we will play the game without trained pikes.Btw The English also have the unit armored sergeants in the game.Just becouse of some CA balancing they decided to leave those out of the campaign.But available on custom battles.
But these things are more related with M2TW in general.Not this great game we are having. So we will rely on merc pikes and militia on the late part of the game.

PS.If you guys chance your mind or want for example make the change on the Forlorn hope suggested in the original post.I can do the changes and embed the files on the same download as the medifix. Changing Landsknecht for trainable unit needs edit of two text files.Fix for Forlorn hope propably one.
