Admittedly, there are a lot of factions. But this presents more authentic and realistic gameplay. Believe me, the game become very immersive.

On a personal note, I have found it to allow me realistically "rule" a kingdom in the 12th Century.

Hi All.

12CG is as Ignoramus said under a little construction.

Above is the planned faction list, very extensive. We hope to make the game very intense and diverse playing any of the factions.

At the moment there is nowhere to sign up as we haven't begun taking members. We will be relocating to a new set of forums soon, at which point we will begin taking new players.

You can see the progress of the game over at the forums Ignoramus mentioned above. If you are interested in multiplayer RPG's you should like 12CG.

Yes the time period will begin at 1100 A.D.

If I was to pick a faction, it'd be between the "Fatimid Caliphate" or the "Abbasid Caliphate". This is because I think I'd be more suited to a Islamic area of the map

Their power is limited to Baghdad only, with Great Seljuk all around. Very difficult to get out of, but many options for progress.

The Fatimids, are strong, but will always have the problem of their minority governing a different majority.

Zamosc was built in the XVIth century.
Biala Podlaska and Bialystok for sure were not even there - the whole region were woods with animals.
The region was colonised in the XVIth century.

Demmin might be closer to correct spelling, but it is better to choose Slupsk from the eastern part of the duchy.

County of Kulm

I would say the same here. Slavic duchy with strong links to Poland - basically still a part of Poland.
Danzig became German-language city after the Teutonic Order took the city in 1308 massacring its former citizens so the correct spelling would be Gdansk.

Kulm is the same as Torun above and in general there should be nothing here except Gdansk - it was important on its own existing from at least 977 as the only Polish port of any meaning.



I am not really sure about other cities.

I suggest checking one of available sources such as Wikipedia - especially about the feudal partitions in Poland which started in 1138 there should be enough regions to replace the current structure.

It should be

Gents, the game is now back in full creative motion with our other Admin Archduke returning after a long abscence. We have decided to decrease the size of the map so as to get the game moving as fast as possible. You can see a list of our 'newly updated' factions here. You can reserve your faction now!

We hope to have the game ready to begin by the end of next week, hopefully sooner. :)

I'm thinking of signing up, but how much time would I have to dedicate to this game? Also how does diplomacy and battles work?

Seems the boards are undergoing some work.

You'de probably have to spend some time each day on the site dealing with moving armies, diplomacy, etc.

Diplomacy is simple there is a Diplomacy section in the forums where you can offer alliances, ask for aid, establish trade routes, etc.
