It depends on what you mean by servant.And what kind of nation are we talking about here? I'd rather be a Oligarch of the late USSR than a faceless factory worker in Imperial Britain.

Really, this is a case-sensitive decision for me.
Like Justiciar, I could not be a factory worker in Imperial Britain, but I would not, like to be a higher up in the USSR for morality reasons.

So long as it wasn't a small nation in Africa or Latin America, I'd be glad to rule it. There's a tendancy in those two regions to cycle through many leaders in relatively short periods.
Something like Luxembourg or Lichtenstein would be just perfect.
