For a muslim or orthodox faction :
the textiles (400-600) around venice and milan; the silver mines of vienna (750); the wine above bordeaux(450)
the ones that are ALWAYS worth alot:

- Everything in timbuktu
- Silk in constantinople ; provided you are not byzantine
