Getting A New Family Member To Move

Dear Gang:

Good morning from Canada!!! I hope this finds you and yours well. As for me, I could complain...yadda, yadda, yadda.

Yesterday, I performed two marriages and acquired two new family members--one for France, one for Spain. Alberto, who used to be a member of the Sicilian royal family married my Spanish princess, Teresa. His colours changed from the grey and black of Sicily to the red and yellow of Spain. He's now the governor of Valencia. He moved when he was supposed to move.

I now come to my problem--Robert. He was of the English royal family but, as he said, "I cannot refuse the hand of a Parisian princess" and married Constance and changed HIS colours.

My problem? I can't get him to move if my life depended on it. He just stands there and stares at Caen. What am I doing wrong? I suspect I have to wait another turn to get him to move.

He's caught in the enemy zone of control. It's as simple as that. Either get military access, or wait till the next turn.

Are you sure he became French and didn't just run away with Constance to England?

I have seen a bug in the vanilla game similiar to the one you describe. DOes he also have other some units in the same stack with him? I don't remember all of the details, but eventually this caused a CTD in my game. Good Luck!
